My Favorite Music of 2010

Last year definitely wasn’t the avalanche of great music that 2009 was, but there were still more than a few releases that are worthy of your attention. The common theme for me from 2009 to 2010 was still having to listen to every minute of the Howard Stern show and checking out 5-10 new albums on any given week. I must say, however, that the Stern show has never been the same since ol’ Artie Lange decided to filet himself, and because of that I have successfully broken my every-minute addiction as of 2011. That may also have to do with having to start from scratch on my Super Anal Rating System (SARS) for the 16,000 songs on my replacement Ipod. Yes, 2010 sadly claimed two Ipods. One was my fault. The other was part of God’s plan. And now here it is, almost February, and this list is getting dangerously close to irrelevant. I started writing comments for each release and got to #10 on the EPs before I realized I stood no chance in hell of finishing before my coming departure to Mexico. So instead I offer you this very abbreviated version of what I intended. Also, I feel it would be a real dick move to post free download links that aren't endorsed by the bands, plus I'm sure most of you know how to find those by now anyway.

Enough bullshit. Shall we get on to the fucking music already? I hope you find something new you might enjoy.

Disclaimer: As usual, I don’t give a shit if something came out in 2009 and I didn’t find out about it until 2010. Get bent if you don't like it.

Thanks for reading. Hopefully next year I'll be laid off one day a week again and I'll have more time to construct this properly. May the Schwartz be with you.
